| U12 Spiders take on their first game in their Cup Campaign|

Spiders opened their cup campaign against the league leaders — the same side who put nine past us earlier in the season. But from the first whistle it was clear this was a very different Spiders team.

Despite a boggy, heavy pitch, we won our battles all over the park. The lads pressed with real intensity, stayed compact out of possession, and never allowed their danger men any room to play. Every 50/50 was ours, every second ball we snapped up. It was proper graft and proper football.

The breakthrough came when Dami picked up the ball on the edge of the box and drilled a low strike into the corner — a clinical finish that ended up being the match winner. From there, the boys defended brilliantly, staying organised and disciplined to see out the game.

A massive 1–0 win against a side unbeaten all season. Outstanding team performance and a brilliant morning of football. 🔥🧡🖤
